Jamie cooks up a storm

Nov 27 2003

By Staff Reporter, Birmingham Post

Jamie Oliver was the star attraction on the first day of the BBC Good Food Show, sending the audience into a frenzy when he whipped off his jacket as things started to hot up in his makeshift kitchen.

Cooking's young gun proved there was more to him than rustling up 'pukka' meals when he gave them a demonstration of his prowess on the drums - he has his own band Scarlet Division.

Elsewhere at the show TV cooks Antony Worrall Thompson, Ainsley Harriott and Rick Stein mixed up a giant Christmas pudding.

The show is on at the NEC until Sunday.
