A car driver died in hospital after leaving the scene of a road accident in Tamworth, it has emerged.
The unnamed man was taken to Sutton Coldfield's Good Hope Hospital after a collision on a roundabout between his Ford Fiesta and a Volkswagen Golf at about 8pm on February 27.
Staffordshire Police said all the parties involved left the crash site at the junction of Glascote Road and Marlborough Way.
"Later the same evening, the male driver of the Fiesta was taken to hospital, where he died," a spokesman said.
