Blues will force wantaway midfielder Robbie Savage to turn out for the reserves against Newcastle United's second XI Damson Park, Solihull tonight.

But the Wales international is NOT disappointed to be playing for the stiffs.

"Robbie thinks playing in a half-empty stadium with a bunch of players who aren't quite good enough for the Premiership will be perfect practice for life at Ewood Park," said a friend.

Blues were so eager to keep Robbie at St Andrew's that they offered to chaffeur him to and from his parents' home in Wrexham.
