Three watercolour originals are to be raffled in aid of Cancer Research UK during an exhibition in Solihull.
The paintings are the work of artist Trevor Boult, who is staging a joint exhibition with his son, Andrew, at The Gallery in the Central Library & Arts Complex at Touchwood.
Trevor, who lives in Balsall Common, has received two major commissions from The Queen, the most recent of which was presented to Her Majesty when she opened the Touchwood Centre.
He is the founder of the Warwickshire Watercolourists, a group of amateur artists who work under his guidance.
The exhibition will run from August 21 to 31. It will be open during library hours and admission is free.
A Grand Charity Evening will be held on Thursday August 26 and tickets are available from the library.
The evening will include a special viewing of the exhibition and a talk and demonstration by Trevor. One of his original paintings will be raffled during the evening, and a further two will be raffled during the exhibition.
All proceeds will go towards Cancer Research UK in the Midlands Area.
