Canadian singer-songwriter, Avril Lavigne will play the NIA, Birmingham on Monday 4 October. Avrils debut album Let Go garnered worldwide sales surpassing a phenomenal 14 million, achieving diamond record status (1 million) in her native Canada. The album was also confirmed as the third best album of 2002 in the UK charts, spawning hits amongst others Im With You, Sk8er Boi and Complicated. Avrils follow up album, Under My Skin has already produced the Top 10 hit single Dont Tell Me and is currently riding high in the UK chart.
