The Two Towers is, in short, simply breathtaking and a rare example of pure cinema.
The story jumps flawlessly from totally CG characters (in the shape of the incredible Gollum), to 10,000+ character battles and giant walking trees without once letting the audience come up for air.
Its near three-hour run time literally flys by and the ending will leave you wishing it was far less than 365 days to next Christmas.
With director Peter Jackson claiming the next film is his favourite of the three I'm absolutely positive the Lord of the Rings trilogy will go down as the greatest series of films in cinema history.
