DESPITE being the countrys second city, Birmingham is only fifth in the UK in terms of retail space. Birminghams shoppers often travel elsewhere to catch up on their retail therapy.
However, with more than 130 new shops, in one fell swoop Bullring will complete the citys retail offer, increasing retail space by 40 per cent. Bullring will be home to the curvy new £40 million
Selfridges store. Deben-hams is launching the first of the retailers 2010 new store concept, as are Nike and Topshop.
And new names such as Billabong and Mango are also part of the complex.
