Farewell smurf friends, its been fun watching your rise and fall, thanks for the banter. PS Cud is a yellow smurf.

Fred, that is the very reason I did not renew my season ticket. They said season ticket holders would get perks...hah! They include vouchers for the club shop, hence you have to pump more money in to gain from those. It's a disgrace. I have had 2 more begging letters, along with bent Xmas cards, offering a half season ticket priced at 280.00 pounds. They must be kidding, I pay 20.00 for my restricted view ticket and can then take my pick of where I sit at 3 o'clock because the ground is half empty.

CUD(nt)This board is for Blue noses to write about issues about our club,I know we get a lot of Dogheads on here, writing Vile crud, but we can handle that!,what we dont need is twonks who have a fixations about 1960s female pop stars,so what if you have read her biography we dont care!!!and why bother with an ageing popstar? when there is a lot of talent around today, are you just another Villa saddo livng in the dark ages, come on get with itif you want to read books buy a modern one like Harry Potter or the latest childrens fiction ,(I dont know what its called)but I do know it had a poor launch.

Fred from Brum 18:25:57 28 November 2006
I cant belive the Blues board are treating season ticket holders like scum! £520 for a Kop Corner season ticket is bad enough for the division we are in, however then to start taking the mick and offering 2 adults and 2 kids for £30 is really really taking the mick! for my season ticket it works out at £24 per game, a friend of mine who has not had a season ticket and has been to every game is £5.00 better off from buying on the day and sitting in the same area! Great one Blues Board your doing a top job!

I've just finished reading the Lulu book. I must say that Wally is a very apt name for Walton. Has he gone on to write many a children's fantasy after?

THE VILE8R 23:07:26 27 November 2006
I am not going to pretend that its great not to be in the top flight, but you have to agree the old fizzy pop lge does have some thing special, its no two horse race and its a mine field for any one betting on results, any one of half a dozen teams as a chance of taking the title and many more gaining promotion, the one thing in this lge is you learn to battle before you try to play fancy football,as much as I am enjoying it,I want us back in the prem but if the board dont do it right this time ,theres no point going up .

Having not gone to Burnley to see the 2-1 win I have had to rely on those who did and various reports. All in all another battling 3 points won and the SB out brigade which I must admit I was one must take their hats off to him. One thing we have got going our way is the luck; how many of the last 7 or 8 games have been won where overall it should of been a draw or possibly a defeat. When you are on a run like we are at the moment (long may it last!) everything goes your way. Anyone remember the 72-73 season undefeated in the league from January!! Nuff said. KRO 4 EVER.

Dan Westwood from Yardley Wood Get a life posting your comments at 10 to 5 in the morning is a bit sad.I was having a joke about Noel Blake it's ok for your lot coming on here having a pop at us so i thought i would try to get a rise out of you lot and it seems to have worked.Great win again at the weekend roll on wednesday should be a good game.

Dan Westwood from Yardley Wood 04:52:56 27 November 2006
I would respectfully suggest Marc from Glasgow, that with all the quality players who have worn the royal blue and white down the years, the fact that you would choose to promote Noel Blake as a role model/hero to your grandkids, is something that should be of concern to Mrs Marc from Glasgow. From what I recall, Blake was given the old heave-ho out of Villa Park for very serious gross misconduct, and hardly covered himself in glory disciplinary wise while at StAn.

Roeder Out Now from Birmingham 23:36:18 26 November 2006
Another good result at the weekend, helped by Cardiff's recent poor form continuing. Southampton away looks a bit tricky - they've only conceded four league goals at St Mary's in 9 games this season. But their home victories have come against Plymouth, Stoke, Wolves and Luton - not the toughest opponents. Burley has got them well organised and Rasiak is always a big threat. If we can stretch the run to eight without a loss it will be a good week's work.

Stewart Mason from Solihull 19:29:28 26 November 2006
Marc from Glasgow, suggest you've got your priorities all wrong sunshine, if despite our inadequacies on the trophy winning front, a piece of on field violence can compensate. Great result Saturday, three very valuable points. More than convinced now that its us and PNE for the automatic promotion spots, with the also rans left to fight it out in the play-offs. Agree with those that say we're a million miles off the quality needed right now to survive at the premiership level, but lets worry about getting back up there first.

Bazza from London 17:33:12 26 November 2006
Albion have got the best squad by a mile in the Championship but they haven't go what Blues have - character, bottle and guts. To win this league you have to have that as well as qulity. Strengthen the squad in January and we will continue to get better and better.

Jezza from Hall Green 15:36:00 26 November 2006
Blues are doing brilliantly but I fear they might run out of steam in March. We have got to buy two or three players to make sure our squad is big and good enough, and also to add some impetus. I don't want to see McSheffrey play up front, he is too useful to us as a winger, so a striker is a must. Nugent would be brilliant and his signing would show that we really do mean business this time.

Fred Hayes from Worcester 15:33:33 26 November 2006
I was one of Bruce's biggest critics and I thought he had completely lost the plot. Credit where credit is due. He realised our style of play wasn't working and changing things round. Now we are getting results and are looking like real promotion contenders. Anyone who plays us now knows they will have to be on top of the game to beat us. Well done Brucie, keep it up.

Chris Gavin from Acocks Green 14:57:42 26 November 2006
Well done to the blues, beating the REAL claret and blues, boing boing.

Joe Bradford from Birmingham 12:33:10 26 November 2006
Great to see Upson back, but Bruce must drop no one. Upson comes in only if someone gets injured or has a major loss of form. Taylor and Jaidi want to be at the club. Upson wants to go. The two of them are playing brilliantly at the moment so Bruce should keep faith in them and the rest of the back four. Can't see anyone wanting to buy Upson in January anyway as he will not have played enough football to prove he is over his injury, and we need him as cover. Why is the talk always about selling and not buying? That's what we should do in January.

N Blake from Headbuttsville 22:49:29 25 November 2006
Villa book launch cancelled - what do you expect? Two things: 1 - 'Villa' and 'book' don't go together. You think they can read? Big type obviously, but only if there are only a lot of pictures as well. 2) Villa's C crew or Baby Squad - not a patch on the Zulus. They didn't cancel the launch - they legged it! (as per usual).

Julius Erving from Hollywood 23:04:17 25 November 2006
Mallett (Mullet?) Bruce signed Forssell because the board were happy to splash out £3 million but not on the players he wanted. Their reasoning was that he was a £10 million player had it not been for his injury! I'm sure you didn't complain when Bruce identified him (when he was fit) and he scored 19 goals. Then again, perhaps maybe a Mallett/Mullet/Muppet like you did

Dave 19:38:15 25 November 2006
Chris Gavin from Acocks Green I haven't had a chance to see the results or league table can you tell me how our respective teams are doing ????

Deluded nose from Small Heath 08:52:45 25 November 2006
True Blue - the game you refer to was 3 years ago. Have you seen the two teams respective positions TODAY? The mighty have fallen have they? watch this space ...

Roeder Out Now from Birmingham 23:17:28 24 November 2006
Sir Bruce says: It's why strikers cost the most money. Those who can stick away chances at the highest level, when there aren't so many, are worth their weight in gold and that's why they are playing where they are. Doesn't quite explain why he paid over four million for Clingon Morrison, three and a half million for Walter The Pea Shooter Pandiani or three million for Cameron Jerome, but thought that AJ was only worth half a million, does it?
