THE Bootleg Beatles will be playing the The NIA Academy for their annual Christmas show on December 22.
The group has provided an authentic Beatles’ experience since 1980 and, along with their orchestra, have travelled the world performing many songs never actually performed live by the originals. These include A Day in the Life, Penny Lane, and Strawberry Fields Forever.
The live Christmas show is in four parts, tracing the musical journey of the Beatles from The Liverpool Cavern to The NIA Academy, their finale is set on the Apple Rooftop and features multi-media scene setting visuals and archive footage of the time.
Using only authentic equipment The Bootleg Beatles are Neil Harrison - John, Andre Barreau - George, David Caitlin-Birch - Paul and Hugo Degenhardt - Ringo.
