Food - as good as any other Indian - portions are much too small however. For everybody's knowledge, a relative of mine is an environmental health officer and he has never been into a restaurant kitchen that has no trace of vermin - the fact of nature is that rats, mice etc like to eat too - the smell of a good curry will never put them off. I am mainly concerned with how the restaurant trade controls rather than prevents vermin and ensures that there is no contamination.

Having visited the restaurant on my birthday with my boyfriend, I am pleased to say that I found the service very pleasent and the food very good!! (try the chicken Korma) Not to sure about the hygiene though, saw a man with a extremly large beard cooking my naan bread!! Has this place ever heard of a beard net!!! I would certainly recommend one, to make everyones visit a bit more pleasant!!!

We went for dinner last night and it was excellent - good service, fabulous food, extremely helpful staff and not a rat dropping in sight. Small portions, sure, but with a few veg and breads (methi paratha is superb) more than enough. Try the hot chocolate with amaretto if you have a sweet tooth to finish.

I haven't eaten there but we find it very pleasant on a Sunday afternoon to sample their good selection of cocktails and sit and watch the bands on their terrace. They certainly didn't have any trouble mixing any of the cocktails we requested. We found staff to be very pleasant and courteous and they carried some extra chairs out for us when more friends joined us.

I visited the restaurant with friends yesterday and found the service to be quite apalling. Firstly the bar staff were unaware of what a Vodka Martini consisted of and were seen trying to find out from a book ! Secondly we were invited to be seated at a very small table when other vacant and larger tables were available (ie a table for 5 when we were 4) The manager, Oliver was very intransigent and would not consider our request for a slightly larger table. He refused to enter into dialogue on the matter as a consequence we cancelled our resrvation and went elsewhere.

I attended a meal with my wife, and the food was not what I expected it to be..very minimum quantity n the worst thing I came across was there was mouse or rat dropping in the resturant..its not only the resturant i saw rat dropping but also pink the shirt store. there must be plenty more rats in the mailbox...
