This bright, modern oriental restaurant has a lot to offer - fresh, clued up cooking for the carnivores and, for vegetarians, a wide and wacky selection of lookalike meat and fish dishes. Fancy "so" (ie veggie) beef satay or "so" shark's fin soup?
Open Monday-Friday 11-2pm, 5.30-11pm. Saturday 11-2pm, 5.30-12pm. Sunday 11-2pm, 5.30-11pm.
Before this restaurant was a buffet, I went once and found the vegetarian food to be good, with an excellent range. Since it became a buffet restaurant, I have been about 3 times, and each time it was worse. They seemed to be adding more and more sugar to the savoury dishes each time, so that the last time, you could actually see it encrusted on the fried seaweed! So I wont be going again.

I went a few weeks after it had opened and I was suprised then by the high standard of food and the fair pricing, but i was sceptical, i thought maybe once it had been open for a while longer service would go down and maybe prices woudl go up, but having gone again only last weekend I was amazed to see that the standard of service was the same and the prices were still low, fantastic food, fantastic service. All the staff are happy to be there, and the range of food in the buffet is amazing too, this place is not just worth a visit, its worth being framed and hung on your wall so you never forget where to go when you want a good meal
Being in the same industry for 10 years and ongoing and living in Hong Kong. I visited Birmingham for a holiday and found this restaurant to be fantastic with its modern decor and splendid selection of food. Quality of the food can definitely be matched with some Hong Kong's best restaurants. Trust me on it I am pretty picky when it comes to food. At first I thought being a chinese buffet kind of made me think the food standard were going to be very poor but I was badly mistaken. The quality was great and the pricing was unbelieveable. Great Value for money as you can stuff yourself crazy. I walked out there gaining few pounds. I will go there again if I am back in Birmingham.
Delightful place to eat . Modern interior coupled with attentive waiters who were very pleasant . We chose to go for the buffet which as well as being excellent value ( less than £30 for two adults and one child)was of excellent standard . We were served with Crispy Aromatic duck first ( enough for three pancakes each ) before choosing from approx 15 starters and even more main courses , also included ( if you could eat it ) was dessert.
Excellent value and I would thouroughly recommend it .
