From where to buy flowers for a forgotten birthday, to finding an emergency plumber, a new guide published by Birmingham City Centre Partnership will make city living a whole lot easier for the growing numbers of residents in the city centre.
City living in Birmingham is booming, with some 6,000 homes completed at the end of last year. Until now there has been no single guide to provide people with vital information on everything from electricians to chiropractors, dry cleaning to decorating.
Launched by the Birmingham City Centre Partnership, the directory includes hundreds of listings for vital services such as medical care, plumbers and electricians, as well as entertainment and shopping. The directory will become the Bible for city centre residents, with crucial information such as opening times and contact numbers for all services.
The guide has been delivered to more than 1,000 homes and is also available free of charge from Tourist Information Centres in the city. Information is available online at www.birmingham.gov.uk/cityliving
