TENNIS Girl, the cheeky Midland poster star who has fuelled countless young men's fantasies since the 1970s, has spoken about the picture which made her famous.
It has been more than 30 years since 18-year-old Stourport girl Fiona Butler flashed her bottom to the camera at Birmingham University's tennis courts in Edgbaston.
Since then thousands of copies of the iconic 70s image have been sold around the world.
And now, with the picture back in a limited edition run, the Birmingham Mail tracked down the woman behind the behind.
"I can remember the day quite clearly," said Fiona, now Walker, aged 49.
"When the picture got so popular I was quite amused that something taken that afternoon could get so big.
"It became one of those pictures that everyone knows and everyone's seen.
"I like the fact that it's got a bit of an air of mystery about it. I think that's what helped with its longevity, because people kept wondering if it was anyone famous.
"It gave me quite a buzz because I could secretly smile and say 'no you're wrong', every time someone guessed."
Fiona has never publicised the fact that she was the girl in the picture, and is polite but adamant about not having her picture taken in any way today. But she said she never made a secret of her famous moment if it ever came up.
"I remember going to a party with my husband and people were saying 'is that the girl in the photograph?'.
"They looked me up and down and said "I don't think so"," she said.
She has also never been shy about the poster, despite some potentially awkward situations.
"My son's headmaster once said to me that he used to have it on his wall at university," said Fiona, who is married with teenage children to millionaire Ian Walker and still lives near Stourport.
"I've got no objections to it whatsoever. My children have never been upset about it. It's really nothing that anyone could be offended by. It's just a bit of fun. I think it was banned in a couple of countries but really I don't think there was anything to get upset about."
And Fiona thinks she knows the secret of why the picture was so popular.
"It was just a picture of a very sort of ordinary girl and there's something in that that appeals to people."
Despite posing for the picture Fiona was not a model and did not play tennis. She was never paid for being in the picture and had to borrow the equipment from a school friend.
The photographer was Martin Elliott, from Stourport, who was Fiona's boyfriend at the time.
Now retired and living in Cornwall, Martin, who is originally from Oldbury, said: "I can remember it was an afternoon in September at the end of the long hot summer.
"It was over very quickly. I only took one roll of film, which is pretty feeble for a photographer and I just hoped I'd got the shot.
"George Melly did a programme on it in which he called it a schoolboy joke and that's just what it was.
