LICHFIELD Tory MP Michael Fabricant has welcomed PM Tony Blair's decision to sign an online petition in support of animal testing for medical research.
The MP's constituency includes Yoxall, where the grave of Gladys Hammond was exhumed by animal rights activists.
"Only the appalling events in Yoxall seem to have shaken the Government out of its lethargy," he said.
