Churchyard sex attack

Police were last night hunting a sex attacker who assaulted a teenager after forcing her into a churchyard.
The 18 year-old victim was dragged into the grounds of Blakenall Parish Church, Blakenall Heath, Walsall, between 11pm and midnight on Wednesday.
The attacker had been following the girl in his car after she got out of taxi in nearby Bloxwich.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: The man told the girl to get into his car but she walked away.
He continued to follow her and she was dragged into the churchyard. She was sexually assaulted by the same man who had been following her.

The suspect is white, 5ft 5ins, aged in his 20s and wearing dark clothing. He was driving a dark car, possibly a Ford Fiesta with a spoiler.
Police are appealing for a group of people who were standing near to the church at the time of the assault to come forward.
