Shoppers beat a path to festival

Nov 5 2007

SHOPPERS in Birmingham were treated to an array of musical talent during the Gigbeth festival.

St Martin's in the Bullring became the stage for three Midland bands - Drumalicious, Hamana and Friendly Fire - on Saturday.

The festival has been billed as the UK's most diverse music festival.

Drumalicious played tribal dance music, while Hamana put on a dance and drumming show, and Friendly Fire demonstrated their reggae style.

A Bullring spokeswoman said: "We were delighted to be involved with an event such as Gigbeth as it showcases the region's up and coming talent."
