A giant television screen has been used by Birmingham Community College to promote its colleges to the people of Birmingham.
The 100 ft screen has been used in Victoria Square several times in the last two years.
Andy Boulton, Birmingham Community College marketing manager, said: "It provides an ideal platform to promote information to the citizens of Birmingham about Birmingham Community College and the seven partner colleges.
"With sound and visual images of the seven colleges, people are able to recognise the branding of Birmingham Community College and it also prompts people to think about their own learning and training needs for the future.
"It is important to reinforce the strong partnership that exists between the seven colleges, and the joint marketing activities is a visible demonstration of the commitment to work together."
Mr Boulton went on to say: "The mission statement from BCC I think say's exactly what the partnership is all about Ð Birmingham Community College is an inspired educational partnership delivering more effective further and higher education in Birmingham, promoting excellence and widening participation.
"We are always looking at new ways to market and promote the colleges and that is why we have also used the BCC video on other large screens.
"Many people have commented that they have seen the video at football grounds in the West Midlands.
"The promotional video has been shown at Birmingham football clubs including, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, and Wolves.
"We are trying to reach out to as many people as possible, and with large crowds in one place, it is an ideal way. We have also provided advertising boarding at Birmingham City football club, and will look in the future at other imaginative ways to promote the seven colleges."
