Promo promises Some Kinda Rush

Dec 14 2007

By Wil Olyphant

POP duo Booty Luv – the latest signing to well-known house label Hed Kandi – are coming to RB’s in Sutton Coldfield tomorrow.

The former Big Brovaz members, Nadia Shepherd and Cherise Roberts, who formed their own partnership last year, will be promoting their latest release Some Kinda Rush from their debut album.

The track, which is the first that the girls have written themselves , has been described by reviewers as "the most anticipated release of their career".

Nadia says: "Some Kinda Rush is a real favourite of ours. As soon as we wrote and recorded it we knew it had to  be a single." The pair are now touring UK clubs promoting the track along with a live band.

Cherise adds: "It’s a feelgood track that really gets you moving. It’s received an amazing audience reaction when we’ve played it live at our gigs."

Last year the pair found fame when they released their first single Boogie2Nite, which reached number two in the charts.

Since their album of the same name hit the charts in September it has become Hed Kandi’s most successful artist album of all time .

Doors at RB’s, which is based in Lower Parade, Sutton, will be open from 9pm to 3am. For more information call 0121 354 5507.
